School Education
On these pages you will find everything you need to know about our formal education programme - from nursery to the sixth year of secondary school - as well as information about related matters, such as our Teachers’ Club and its varied programme, designed to benefit both teachers and the Zoo itself.
Most lessons comprise of two parts – one in our Education Centre using slides, ‘biofacts’ or even a variety of live animals; and the other out in the Zoo Park, observing and discussing what is so unique about what we have to offer, our growing collection of fascinating, often rare, exotic animals in their increasingly natural enclosures. All our lessons are delivered by trained staff.
