We are open every day of the year, including Christmas Day, from 9am until:

Events include owl flights,
wildlife lectures, quiz nights and
a wine tasting.
Christmas Party Lunches
Meet at the luxurious Mansion House at 12 noon for festive pre-lunch drinks, then take your seats for our succulent three-course lunch at 12.30pm. Afterwards, you can choose to start your evening early with dancing and party games till 4.30pm.
Menu
- Chef's homemade soup, served with a crusty roll and butter
- Homemade trout mousse, served on a bed of fresh rocket leaves drizzled with a lemon zest dressing
- Fresh fig, strawberry and kiwi cocktail, topped with orange sorbet
- Duo of cured meats on a crisp salad, topped with a pistachio nut pesto

- Roast local Lothian turkey, with all the traditional trimmings and a rich gravy
- Oven baked Scottish salmon, topped with a herb and lemon crust
- Pan fried medallions of pork, drizzled with a juniper berry and calvados cream
- Roasted vegetable timbale, topped with our own salsa sauce
All accompanied with fresh market vegetables and potatoes

- Christmas pudding, dirzzled with homemade brandy sauce
- Baked open pear tart, topped with vanilla ice cream
- Selection of Scottish cheeses with Highland oatcakes, celery, apples and grapes
- Brandy snap basket filled with a wild berry compote, topped with fresh Chantilly cream
