Competitions
Name a Rainbow Lorikeet Competition
Edinburgh Zoo is holding a drawing competition and the winners will get the chance to name each of our rainbow lorikeets in our colourful Rainbow Landings attraction.
How to Enter
The entry forms are available from the Zoo Gift Shops and in Rainbow Landings. The winning entries will be displayed in Rainbow Landings during October and November, along with the winning birds names. Closing date is 31 December 2008.
Competition Entry Fee: £1.00
Photography Competition
Most of our visitors bring a camera with them on their trip to the Zoo. These photographs provide happy memories of a great day out, but could also be the opportunity for your photographs to be shown at Edinburgh Zoo for everyone to view!

Competition Winners
Sharon Jenner's stunning photo of a chimpanzee taken at Edinburgh Zoo's Budongo Trail won the prize for best photo in the adult competition.
Amanda Hutton's majestic picture of Mercedes the polar bear won the prize for best photo in the under 14 age group.
