The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has teamed up with Clydesdale Bank to offer completely FREE wildlife sessions to children all over Scotland. The project delivers an outreach programme on Scotland's natural history via a bespoke double-decker bus. The bus has been fully converted to provide a unique and inspiring teaching space for school children, and provide fun, practical sessions that fully complement the National Curriculum for Excellence.
Now in its third year, the Wild about Scotland bus is on a mission to travel the length and breadth of the country, engaging children and communities with Scotland's amazing native wildlife. We hope to connect children to the nature on their own doorstep with a view to creating a lifelong appreciation and respect for wildlife and the environment.

We’ve successfully completed our first full month of the 2016/17 school year. During September we visited schools in the Aberdeenshire area, Edinburgh and South Lanarkshire regions, and in the Highlands around Fort William. It was also a chance for our new Education Officer Kirsty to teach the Wild about Scotland school sessions.
