From ribbits to roars, our parks are home to a range of endangered animals which rely on your support.
By adopting your favourite species or even adopting an animal as a unique gift for a loved one, you are helping to care for our animals. You are also saving animals in the wild by supporting our many conservation projects here in Scotland and around the world.
We aim to process all adoption orders within 10 working days. You will also receive a confirmation email with details of your adoption and a gift certificate you can fill in at home.
Please also note that the adopters name will not appear at the enclosure until the adoption has been processed and the pack is sent out.
A digital photo and fact sheet can also be provided on request.

The packs, which are customisable for any age, from cub packs for children through to platinum packs for our high-level donors. Every adopter will receive a special adoption folder, packed with information about your chosen animal along with different benefits you can chose to include, from bookmarks to complimentary tickets to visit Edinburgh Zoo or Highland Wildlife Park.

Cub £40
Special RZSS adoption folder containing:
- Animal fact sheet and photo of your adopted animal
- Certificate of adoption and gift message of your choice
- Activities pages including Snakes and Giraffes game
- RZSS bookmark, pencil and stickers
Bronze £45
Special RZSS adoption folder containing:
- Animal fact sheet and photo of your adopted animal
- Certificate of adoption and gift message of your choice
- RZSS bookmark, pen and stickers
Silver £90
As Bronze, plus:
- Adopter name listed at animal enclosure
- Two complimentary tickets to visit either Edinburgh Zoo or Highland Wildlife Park (valid for one year)
- Subscription to our members magazine
Gold £185
As Silver, plus:
- RZSS calendar (issued in December)
- One adult/child RZSS membership (valid for one year) in place of complimentary tickets
Platinum £550
As Gold, plus:
- "Meet the keeper" experience
- One additional adult/child RZSS membership (valid for one year)
