Featured corporate sponsors

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the following corporate sponsors:

We are thrilled that RZSS is part of a three-way-partnership with Glenmorangie and Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF). Summer 2021 saw our bachelor herd of giraffes arrive home in the capital for the first time in over 15 years, and we're also supporting vital conservation work to protect the species in the wild.

Thomas Moradpour, President and Chief Executive of The Glenmorangie Company, said: "This majestic creature has long been a beloved symbol of our brand thanks to our distillery’s giraffe-high stills, the tallest in Scotland. These amazing animals are under threat of a silent extinction, which is why we are proud to be official partners of giraffe conservation at Edinburgh Zoo, and to support the work of GCF in the wild. Through this global partnership, we hope to raise awareness of the plight of the giraffe and ensure these wonderful creatures remain part of our world for many centuries to come."

RZSS led Saving Wildcats project is generously supported by Arnold Clark who have kindly lent the project a vehicle to use to track released wildcats. The vehicle is used every day by members of the field team to track and monitor wildcats in the Cairngorm national Park.

Calum Ewart, Arnold Clark Vehicle Management Director, notes: ‘We are delighted to provide RZSS with a vehicle to help with their Saving Wildcats programme. As a company, we are always looking for new ways to give back to our local communities and embrace opportunities to help. We hope that this small gesture has allowed the project to drive on and continue its vital work in wildcat conservation and recovery’.

Their support is enabling us to improve health and wellbeing, broaden horizons and equip young people with employability skills.

Samantha Pattman, Sponsorship Manager at Baillie Gifford, says: “Baillie Gifford plays an active role in supporting the Scottish community. We are pleased that our sponsorship of the Conservation Education Strategy at RZSS means that children from a diverse range of backgrounds, age groups and communities are able to gain access to invaluable skills and experiences.
