St Andrew's Day
Celebrate Scotland's national day at Edinburgh Zoo. We are offering FREE admission on St Andrew's Day, 30 November 2008.
Admission will also be free to the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig, near Kingussie.
Our Attractions
2008 has been an exciting year at Edinburgh Zoo with three wonderful new attractions now open.
Rainbow Landings provides our visitors with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our beautiful rainbow lorikeet birds, and Budongo Trail allows visitors to see our chimpanzees in the world's most innovative, interactive chimpanzee enclosure. In association with Budongo Trail is Living Links, a primate education and research facility. Please click on the links to learn more about these exciting new attractions.
Edinburgh Zoo is also home to the UK's only koalas in a wonderful Australian themed exhibit and has the largest penguin pool in the world.
