We are open every day of the year, including Christmas Day, from 9am until:

2009 Events

Events include owl flights,
wildlife lectures, quiz nights and
a wine tasting.
Cafes
There are two large self-service cafes to cater for all.
Stripes
Stripes is situated next to the Mansion House. A sample menu may include smoked haddock longboats, roast chicken, meatballs in tomato sauce, baked potatoes with various fillings. We also offer a selection of cakes, crisps, biscuits, hot and cold drinks.
Oasis
Oasis is situated in the middle of the Zoo and offers the same menu as Stripes, and visitors can relax in our new seating area. We offer baked potatoes, a selection of homemade sandwiches and filled paninis, cakes, crisps and biscuits. Hot and cold drinks are also available.
Special Dietary Requirements
We take care to mark all items but if you have any doubts, please consult one of our catering assistants who will be happy to help you.
Baby Facilities
In both Stripes and Oasis there are facilities to heat up bottles. High chairs are also available in both restaurants.
