We are open every day of the year, including Christmas Day, from 9am until:

2009 Events

Children's Play Areas
There are several play areas around the Zoo, designed to allow children to have fun in a safe environment!
The first one is the ark, just opposite the gentle lemurs enclosure, incorporating a rope bridge, slide and stepping stones. At the top of the hill is a large play area suitable for children of all ages and there is also a colourful activity climbing frame right in front of the penguins on the Penguin Lawn.
The Oasis cafe also has an indoor soft play area for younger children.
The whole of the Zoo offers plenty of opportunities for children to play, but please ensure that your children are supervised at all times.
