Our Wild about Scotland outreach programme and four-year sponsorship from Clydesdale Bank will reach an end on 30 September 2018, by which time we expect to have engaged with over 600 schools, more than 100,000 children and adults, travelled over 35,000 miles and given out 1,260 tree saplings.
We would like to thank Clydesdale Bank, Stagecoach, all the schools and organisations we have visited, our volunteers, charity partners, and all the staff involved in making the programme such a success.
We are reviewing our outreach activities and how we can build on all we have achieved, and we will continue to offer and develop our range of online Scottish wildlife resources.
Keep a look out for the Wild about Scotland bus as it visits schools and events across Scotland up until the end of September.
Don’t forget, you can visit our two RZSS sites (Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park) where you can enjoy a day out for special discounted rates if you take an education session with us. We have a wide range of different sessions to suit all age ranges, details can be found here. You can book a session with us here.
