Amur tiger receives purrfect Valentine’s Day present at Highland Wildlife Park

13/02/2020 in Highland Wildlife Park

Keepers at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s Highland Wildlife Park sent the animals some special Valentine’s Day gifts this year.

The wildlife conservation charity shared a photo of Amur tiger, Dominika, investigating a box filled with tasty treats.

Amur tigers are endangered in the wild, with around only 450 remaining in scattered and fragmented populations near the Amur river valley in the far east of Russia and China’s north-east border.
