Forget a six-pack – phenomenal Bru tips the scales at 19 IRN-BRU cans

Edinburgh Zoo’s adorable baby capybara Bru has passed his recent health check with flying orange and blue colours. The youngster now weighs a healthy 7 kg – about the same as 19 cans of IRN-BRU.
In footage shared by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), the delightful pup can be seen hopping onto the scales eagerly investigating the iconic IRN-BRU cans - a tribute to his namesake after the public chose his name in a social media vote.

- Thanks to this year’s bumper baby boom visitors can also visit playful Scotland’s first Linne’s two-toed sloth Atty and giant anteater pup Snoot.
