Science in the Language Classroom - French

Learn about lemurs of Madagascar and the RZSS Partula snail project in the French Polynesia Islands with our fun and interactive French quiz session. Questions and answers are in French and include animal’s names, threats, numbers, colours and parts of the body. The session includes sound files from a native French speaker.

Duration of lesson: 50 minutes

Maximum Class size: 160   

  • To gain an understanding of the work of RZSS in the lemur conservation breeding programmes and the Partula snail project in the French Polynesia islands.
  • To know and understand some of the threats animals face in the wild today.
  • To recognise some simple French vocabulary and phrases.
