The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) has teamed up with Clydesdale Bank to offer completely FREE wildlife sessions to children all over Scotland. The project delivers an outreach programme on Scotland's natural history via a bespoke double-decker bus. The bus has been fully converted to provide a unique and inspiring teaching space for school children, and provide fun, practical sessions that fully complement the National Curriculum for Excellence.
Now in its second year, the Wild about Scotland bus is on a mission to travel the length and breadth of the country, engaging children and communities with Scotland's amazing native wildlife. We hope to connect children to the nature on their own doorstep with a view to creating a lifelong appreciation and respect for wildlife and the environment.

The theme of this year’s Edinburgh International Science Festival was ‘Building a Better World’. As part of this the Wild about Scotland team was stationed across the city for two weeks encouraging children and adults alike to consider their impact on our surroundings.
