BSc (Hons) (Cardiff University, UK) Genetics (Currently Studying)
Alice is currently studying for her undergraduate degree in Genetics at Cardiff University and is currently undertaking her sandwich year placement with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland at the WildGenes laboratory based at Edinburgh Zoo. After her undergraduate degree Alice hopes to study for a graduate degree and is interested in going into a career in the research of gene function or in the field of conservation genetics.

Incredible news for Scotland’s beavers
After helping to bring beavers back to Scotland in the first ever official successful reintroduction of a mammal to Britain, we have been pushing for increased geographic flexibility on translocations to help beaver populations spread into new areas where they can have greater positive impact and avoid conflict with humans.

Dr Arnaud Desbiez is an RZSS conservation associate in Brazil and the founder of the Giant Armadillo Conservation Program and Anteaters & Highways projects.
