Patrons of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) are at the forefront of wildlife conservation, both here in Scotland and in over twenty countries around the world.

Over the years, our committed group of Patrons have become a cornerstone of support for pioneering conservation and research projects which are helping to conserve vulnerable and endangered animals.

Bringing you closer to the animals you love

As a Patron, you can enjoy a closer relationship with RZSS and gain a deeper knowledge of wildlife and conservation through a programme of unique opportunities including:

  • Exclusive Patron events and behind the scenes tours
  • Invitations to meet our specialist staff
  • Visits to conservation projects in the wild
  • Unlimited access to Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park for you and up to three family members
  • Regular updates and news so that you can learn more about the projects you are supporting

The impact of your support will be felt across the world

Protect amazing wildlife:

  • A donation of £500 could feed a pair of wildcats in the dedicated conservation breeding for release centre at Highland Wildlife Park for a month
  • A donation of £1,000 could help provide expert veterinary care to the penguin colony at Edinburgh Zoo
  • A donation of £2,000 could enable communities in the Budongo forest in Uganda to live alongside and protect chimpanzees

Patronage starts at £500 a year for individual members and £800 for joint membership.
