Atty’s first crawl: Keepers catch baby sloth’s first ‘steps’ on camera 

Atty, Scotland’s first-ever baby sloth, has taken his first ‘steps’ away from his mum at Edinburgh Zoo.

In the footage shared by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), Atty can be seen returning to his mum, Feira, after a brief crawl along a rope. The young sloth adventured away from his napping mum to claim a delicious leafy snack from a keeper.

The wildlife conservation charity welcomes these behaviours as important milestones in Atty’s development, demonstrating his growing confidence and character.
