Annual penguin catch up at Edinburgh Zoo

Over 100 penguins at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Edinburgh Zoo had their annual health check earlier this month.

Once a year, keepers and vets at the wildlife conservation charity give the full colony vaccinations and health checks. This year’s catch up revealed all of the charity’s penguins are doing well.

Visitors can see the famous colony in Europe’s largest outdoor penguin pool at Edinburgh Zoo and on their free live webcams at edinburghzoo.org.uk/penguincam.
